Writing Samples
These are two writing samples I put together during my time at school. I was tasked with putting together a 30-second audio commercial and a 30-second video commercial. My main focus on this project was to highlight student-run organizations. Appalachian State University has plenty of award-winning content that I believe needs more recognition. That is why these were both pitched to App TV and are in the process of being used to create new commercial content.
Video Script
Appalachian State University has several student tun organizations within the Communications department. The purpose of this commercial was to give a glimpse into the work students do creating content and gaining life experiences.
Audio Script
For my audio piece, I chose to focus on one of the newer organizations at the school. Second Story Media was a chance for students to gain hands-on experience working for an ad agency within the community.
